What we collect
When you adopt a colour we collect:
- Your name and email address (entered at checkout)
- Optional: a website URL and a dedication name
- Payment information and billing country, processed and stored by Stripe, never stored by us
- The hex code of the colour you adopt
How we use it
- To send you a confirmation email and record your adoption
- To display your name on the colour's public page (if you provided one)
- To send a dedication email to a third party (only if you asked us to)
We don't sell your data, send marketing emails, or share your information with anyone except Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (email delivery).
Cookies and analytics
We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Cloudflare may collect anonymised request metrics as part of hosting.
Data retention
Your adoption record is stored indefinitely so your colour remains yours. You can request deletion by emailing us (see Contact below). Note this will release your colour back into the pool.
